OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) is technology that allows us to take a deep dive into the underlying health of the eyes. Conventional ocular health check methods only show us the surface level eye health, OCT however enables us to view the underlying layers in the back of the eye that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. This is particularly useful when dealing with conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration as we're able to detect signs earlier, which can make managing conditions and preventing long term vision problems a lot easier.
